 Bulk Discounts on Co-Location:
Following bulk discounts will be offered on co-location services rates, as defined in RIO, being provided by NTC:-
No discount upto billed amount of Rs. 5.0 Million per annum.
5% discount on billed amount of Rs. 5,000,001.00 upto Rs. 10.0 Million per annum on amount exceeding Rs. 5.0 Million.
10% discount on billed amount of Rs. 10,000,001.00 upto Rs. 15.0 Million per annum on amount exceeding Rs. 10.0 Million.
15% discount on billed amount of Rs. 15,000,001.00 upto Rs. 20.0 Million per annum on amount exceeding Rs. 15.0 Million.
20% discount on billed amount of Rs. 20,000,001.00 upto Rs. 25.0 Million per annum on amount exceeding Rs. 20.0 Million.
 Guidelines:
The area of the antenna will be calculated by adding 6 ft roaming area to the each sides of the square to the diameter of the dish. For instance, if the diameter of the dish is 12 feet, the local area will be (12+6+6) x (12+6+6) = (24x24) = 576 sft. In this calculation, 12 is variable according to the diameter of the Dish and all other parameters are fixed. Additional space of 100 sq ft (fixed) will be added for cable runways total chargeable area in the above example will be 576+100=676 sq ft.
Rent for rooftop self-supported towers shown as Rs. 65,000/- and Rs 60,000/-is for 30 meter height only. Rates for additional heights (higher or lower) will be calculated on the basis of this rate.
Area of guyed wire tower will be calculated on the basis of actual space utilization from the anchor points of guyed wires connected in square and two feet roaming space will be added at each side of the square. For instance, if the distance between two anchor points is 40 ft, the total area will be (40+40+2+2) x (40+40+2+2) = 84 x 84 = 7,056 sq ft. Additional 10 sq ft will be added for cable runways.
No rent for installation of own dish antenna (in any quality provided the engineering design of the tower permits) by the tenant on his own tower installed at ground will charged by NTC. The tenant will submit the engineering design of the tower to NTC at the time of application.
Rent @ Rs. 6,500/- and 6000/- respectively for Capital City and other cities per month per antenna will be paid by the tenant to NTC on a rooftop tower installed by the tenant, provided; however that first antenna installed by the tenant will be at zero charge.
Tenant will be allowed to share his own tower installed at open space (ground level) by the other licensed operators, provided that tenant pays NTC @ Rs.6,500/- and Rs 6,000/- respectivaly for Capital City and other cities per month per antenna installed at this tower. In case of rooftop tower installed by the tenant, sharing will be allowed at above rates per month per antenna paid to NTC. The installation of other licensed operators antennas will be subject to permission by NTC.
Ordinary space means covered area in exchanges without any allied facilities (without air-conditioning and backup power).
GST for collocation facilities will be only be applicable if levied by CBR and will be paid by the tenant. Previous amount paid by the tenants on account of GST, if not applicable by CBR, will be reimbursed / adjusted to the tenants by NTC. Local taxes, if any, levied by Statutory Government Bodies on the towers and antenna installed by the tenant will be borne by the tenant.
